CART and broadcast captioning and the California Court Reporting Association’s role in advancing this segment of the profession will be the topic of a California radio show, “Janet’s Planet,” on Oct. 15. Host Janet Neal is the president of the L.A. County Commission on Disabilities. NCRA members Saba McKinley, RPR, Sandy Eisenberg, and Carlos Martinez, RPR, CMRS, president of the California Court Reporters Association are expected to appear on the show.
The show will air 9:30 -10:30 a.m. PDT (12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. EDT) and can be accessed through ktym.com. (Other programs will be playing before and after “Janet’s Planet,” but pressing the play button will access the live audio stream.)
