Understanding the diversity of CART clients

An article that appeared in the fall 2014 issue of The Transcript, the membership newsletter of the New York State Court Reporters Association, addresses the differences between deaf, hearing impaired, late deafened, and hearing loss, as well as the reasons why CART captioners should understand each term.
