Pamplona Capital Management acquires Veritext

In a press release issued Feb. 1, Pamplona Capital Management LLC, a global private equity investment firm based in New York and London, announced that it has acquired VText Holdings, Inc. (Veritext). Veritext was previously owned by private equity firm Investcorp, which acquired it in 2010. Veritext provides law firms and corporations with national coverage, state-of-the-art facilities, highly skilled court reporters, and advanced technology.

The Huseby family of court reporting and litigation services companies announced in a Nov. 18 press release that it has merged with Dallas Reporting of Rock Hill, S.C. According to the release, longtime Dallas Reporting owner Shirley Dallas-Gerrald expects to work even more closely with clients, bolstered by the technological support that the merger provides.

Planet Depos announced the acquisition of M.A.R. Reporting Group. M.A.R. Reporting Group, which was owned by Mario A. Rodriguez, CMRS, a court reporter with more than 20 years’ experience, has provided court reporting, legal videography, and related services in the D.C. metropolitan area for more than 20 years. Lea, Sherman & Habeski merge with Griffin & Associates

Lea, Sherman & Habeski and Griffin & Associates, two long-time court reporting firms based in Phoenix, Ariz., recently announced their merger. Lea, Sherman & Habeski has operated for the past 37 years while Griffin & Associates have served the legal community for the past 27 years. The merged firms are now operating under Griffin & Associates.

According to a press release issued by the new company, the staffs of the two firms represent more than 597 years of court reporting experience to provide services in all facets of reporting including depositions, trials, hearing, meetings, conventions, and administrative proceedings.
