Rhode Island community requires closed captioning

JCR logoThe Valley Breeze reported on June 14 that officials in Pawtucket, R.I., approved a mandate that requires closed captioning be turned on at all times on televisions in businesses that serve the public. Pawtucket is the first community in the state to adopt such an ordinance.
