Come be part of the excitement as six court reporters race to break the current Guinness speed record of 360 words per minute. Deanna C. Boenau, RDR, CRR, CBC, CCP; Kathy A. Cortopassi, RMR, CRR, CBC, CCP; Mark T. Kislingbury, RDR, CRR; Diane K. Kraynak, RMR, CRR; Stanley H. Sakai; and Kathryn A. Thomas, RDR, CRR, CCP, will compete for a new world record of speeds up to 400 wpm. Contestants will get to take down and transcribe one-minute takes of RMR class Q&A to get their chance at fame.
The Guinness attempt will take place on Thursday, Aug. 8, as part of NCRA’s Annual Convention & Expo in Nashville, Tenn.
