On Sept. 25, the National Court Reporters Foundation held a remote phone-a-thon at the Prince Institute/Great Lakes Campus in Schaumburg, Ill. This marked the sixth year that Stenograph has hosted the event. Four reporters including Kathie Grove from Wheaton, Ill., Kathy Cortopassi from Dyer, Ind., Joan McQuinn from Rockford, Ill., and Melanie Humphrey-Sonntag from St. Charles, Ill., volunteered and were joined by Stenograph’s Vice President for Education, Dave Wynne. Together the team raised more than $9,300 to benefit the Foundation, far exceeding any other remote phone-a-thon held by NCRF.
“NCRF is extremely thankful for the tremendous support provided by John Wenclawski and Stenograph each year,” says Merilyn Sanchez, FAPR, RMR, CRR, NCRF’s Chair.
