The Mercury News has reported that the Pennsylvania Court Reporters Association has partnered with the National Park Service to help transcribe interviews of family, friends, first responders, and investigators as part of an oral history project at the Flight 93 National Memorial.
The national park about 50 miles southeast of Pittsburgh marks the site where 40 passengers and crew died in a crash after fighting for control of their United Airlines jet with four al-Qaida hijackers during the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
