The Des Moines Area Community College in Newton, Iowa, has announced that in conjunction with the Iowa Court Reporters Association, it will begin offering a two-year court reporting program starting in Fall 2014. According to school officials, the program will be the only one of its kind offered in the state. ICRA is holding their spring seminar in Newton on March 29 and will feature an afternoon session at DMACC’s campus. The session will include a tour and a question and answer session to introduce current reporters and potential students to the program and its facilities.
