The Hilton San Francisco Union Square Hotel, the host hotel for NCRA’s 2014 Convention & Expo happening July 31 – Aug. 3, has announced that the July 9 deadline to reserve a room at the special convention rate will not be extended. NCRA convention planners urge members who are planning to attend the San Francisco event to make their reservations now to avoid higher room rates later.
This year’s event promises an array of educational sessions and networking opportunities for attendees. Highlights include the NCRA Realtime Resource Booth located in the Expo Hall, where members can book a private one-on-one 30-minute session with realtime experts who can address realtime questions and challenges. The onsite realtime experts can answer questions about streaming, troubleshooting, and software, to name a few. The booth will also include a sample Realtime Systems Administrator test station.
The private 30-minute session will cover troubleshooting issues that arise during the setup of a CAT computer through and including a successful feed to one or more realtime browsers. There is a minor cost of $25 per private session. Walk-ins are welcome at the booth as well as advanced sign-up for a session. The booth number is 715 and will be open for appointments on Thursday, July 31, from 12 – 5 p.m and Friday, Aug. 1, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
