On Fri., Oct. 3, the Ahwatukee Foothills News, Phoenix, Ariz., announced that Kathy Hanchette, owner of Ahwatukee Court Reporting, was named as one of 10 nominees for the 2014 Palo Verde Women in Business Award. Hanchette, who was forced to end her court reporting career due to a series of hand injuries, was nominated for her success in earning a spot in the top 5 percent of sellers for Premier Designs Jewelry.
