On Feb. 12, the California Court Reporters Association and legal software provider YesLaw announced a partnership that allows court reporters to upload court transcripts to the cloud. “We are excited to be working with YesLaw to provide an alternative to paper transcripts in California. The cost of printing and managing paper transcripts is high not only to the court reporters, but to the environment. We are encouraged by the results we have seen in Fresno and look forward to implementing the service in other districts in the state,” said CCRA President Carlos Martinez, RPR, CMRS.
