An article in the March 8 edition of the Albuquerque Journal features NCRA member Jennifer Bean, RDR, CRR, a veteran court reporter who helped open the recent premiere of AMC’s Better Call Saul by portraying a court reporter. The article also sheds light on the court reporting profession. Bean, who provided a period-appropriate steno machine for the show that is set in the early 2000s, is owner of Bean & Associations, Inc., located in Albuquerque. Better Call Saul is a prequel to the popular and award-winning AMC show Breaking Bad.
