An article posted Jan. 19 by the Holton Recorder reported that a local judge recently proposed courtroom updates for the Jackson County Courthouse in Holton, Kan. The updates would address an issue with exposed plumbing pipes that are noisy and often make it difficult for the court reporter to hear court proceedings.
