JoEllen Dicken of Haymarket, Va., unexpectedly passed away on Sept. 7. Dicken was the Director of the U.S. Senate Captioning Office for several years. Prior to working there, Dicken worked at the National Captioning Institute as a closed captioner and for Agren & Blando as a freelance reporter.
