Jocelynn Moore from NCRA’s Government Relations department attended the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Disability Advisory Committee meeting Sept. 24 in Washington D.C., on behalf of our captioning members.
During the meeting, the committee discussed the petition concerning improvements in the quality of captioning, recommendations regarding the availability of television listings of audio described programming, and recommendations concerning realtime text integration with video relay services for point-to-point relay calls. NCRA and our Government Relations team look forward to continuing our representation of our captioning members with the FCC and on Capitol Hill and furthering our working relationships with members of the Disability Advisory Committee.
