There is nothing more beautiful than the heart of a volunteer. Many of the achievements of our Association, the incredible amount of work that is accomplished, could never be done by just one person, by 12 members of the NCRA Board, nor by our remarkable staff. Our Association is powered by the work of our members as they serve on our NCRA committees and throughout the industry to promote our beloved profession. I offer my sincerest gratitude to our countless selfless volunteers for all they have done and continue to do. Our volunteers give thousands and thousands of hours in service because they believe in NCRA. Our Association is worth the investment.
The NCRA Board has been working with industry stakeholder groups to identify critical elements for our upcoming strategic plan that will be unveiled at the 2021 NCRA Convention & Expo in Las Vegas. Once completed, the strategic plan will offer extensive opportunities for you to allow your voice to be heard as we develop new and creative ways to implement this three-year plan. As your incoming President, I am ready to do my share. Will you help me? Whether you care about schools, professional education, promoting the profession, helping members earn certifications, new professionals, or new technologies, we need you. Learn about what our committees do and help us write our future. I and the Board would love to have you!
As we move on from this past year, a year that no one expected, let’s create the new normal! Let’s be that new normal!! Show up!!! Get involved today! Please reach out to me and share with me what new opportunities you would like to see developed, what contribution you would like to make, and how you can be a part of the NCRA of tomorrow.
