Congratulations to Sandra S. Dieringer, RPR., of St. Marys, Ohio, for winning November’s membership renewal contest. She wins a $100 Amazon gift card. Throughout the year, members who renewed before Nov. 30 were entered into monthly contests for various prizes.
Some of our recent membership renewal contest winners shared what they believe are the benefits of being a member of the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA). “I’m very proud of being a member of NCRA. [They have] connected me with court reporters in my state and around the country that I would not have met,” said Glenda Kaufman, RPR, of Minneapolis, Minn., who was one of October’s renewal contest winners. “I would highly recommend colleagues join NCRA because of these benefits and the great networking opportunities.”
September renewal contest winner Treva Maricle, RPR, a freelancer from Oakdale, La., and NCRA member since 1988, would encourage colleagues to join NCRA. “It keeps us all in touch with what’s going on in our field. Networking with other court reporters across the nation is invaluable and has helped me grow.”
Theresa Salsberry, RPR, of Kingman, Ariz., another winner of NCRA’s renewal giveaway contest, said, “[NCRA] keeps us apprised of things changing in our industry and also keeps us informed as to what is happening in our profession.”
