KTAB, Abilene, Texas, reported on July 13, that court reporters, or stenographers, at the Taylor County Courthouse who currently earn starting salaries of $70,000 per year could be looking at a raise soon, in a proposed move by the county’s commissioner to help attract and keep personnel.
