Up your professional game with NCRA webinars in May

Are you looking to level up your professional game? Whether you work from home or in an office, NCRA is here to help. The NCRA Learning Center is proud to offer two new webinars this month that will provide you with valuable tips and insights on how to present yourself in the best possible light and equip yourself with top-notch tools. This is your opportunity to take your career to the next level.

“We are all used to dressing professionally, but professional dress is not enough when it comes to remote proceedings,” says Hector Cordova, CLVS, a videographer based in Orlando, Fla., who presents Looking Sharp in Your Next Remote Proceeding on May 24. “You must manage your camera, lighting, audio, and face a new set of rules for what to wear. This webinar will show you everything you need to look your best, remotely.”

On May 31, Sarah Nageotte, FAPR, RDR, CRR, CRC, an official based in Jefferson, Ohio. presents Computers and Technology: Friend or Foe? providing insight and tips on all things computer-related. “Our profession prides itself on being the gold standard in converting the spoken word to text,” says Nageotte. “To live up to that standard, we must have up-to-date, functional, and reliable equipment and technology at our fingertips. My goal is to instill in each attendee a comfort level and confidence in the computer technology we use each day.”

Webinars do not have to be viewed live. The Learning Center gives 30 days from the live event to complete all required elements unless otherwise noted.

Mental Health Awareness Month

Your mental health is important. NCRA is offering the following sessions free of charge to members as part of Mental Health Awareness Month. The sessions are sponsored by NCRF and will be recorded and archived for later viewing in the Free Content section of the NCRA Learning Center. No CEUs will be awarded.

Be a Stronger Professional: Stress Awareness and Resilience
