An additional Bylaws amendment has been proposed by NCRA members Melanie Humphrey-Sonntag, FAPR, RDR, CRR, CRC, Cheyenne, Wyo.; Dineen Squillante, RPR, Arlington, Vt.; and Traci Mertens, RDR, CRR, CRC, Alexandria, Va., and will be considered and voted on at its next Annual Business Meeting. The Proposed Bylaws Amendment #5 changes the process of voting for Directors when a vacant seat is created during the normal course of elections. The proposal would allow for voting for vacant seats in a special election to take place by electronic mail or other authorized means at least 15 days prior to the Annual Business Meeting.
Discussion of this (and all) proposed Bylaws Amendments will take place during the NCRA Annual Business Meeting being held July 27 at the Hyatt Regency Houston Downtown. Voting will start within two hours of the close of the Business Meeting and remain open for 24 hours. Voting Members should verify that their email address is current in NCRA’s database by July 17.
