NCRA continues its robust series of live webinars on July 19 with its newest session, Self-Made Mess — Organize Your Finances and Plan for Your Future. Presenter Brandon Sussman, a Certified Financial Planner with Northwestern Mutual, covers some of the biggest financial challenges you might face and gives you practical solutions for making the most of your money.
Sussman has a passion for helping small business owners, including court reporters. His mother started out as a court reporter and transitioned into owning her own agency. He knew early on that he wanted to have his own business and has built a practice of developing financial strategies for others.
“Being self-employed,” says Sussman, “I found out early on that without a plan I would let my savings account build with little separation between business and personal finances. Money can be stressful and without employer benefits guiding you, we see many people procrastinating on building a financial plan. My goal is to help NCRA members gain confidence in their finances with clear-cut strategies on how to make that hard-earned money work for you!”
