NCRA members will be voting on five proposed Bylaws Amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws and a proposed change in dues following the Annual Business Meeting taking place during the NCRA Conference & Expo in Houston, Texas.
Discussion of these proposed Bylaws Amendments will take place during the NCRA Annual Business Meeting being held at the Hyatt Regency Houston Downtown on Thursday, July 27, starting at 8:30 a.m. Members may attend the meeting in person. If you cannot attend in person, you can follow the discussion through live captions provided by Kim Falgiani, RDR, CRR, CRC, of Warren, Ohio. A PDF of the meeting transcript will be available following the meeting on the Member Resources page.
Voting will start within two hours of the close of the Business Meeting and remain open for 24 hours. Voting Members should verify that their email address is current in NCRA’s database by July 17.
Results will be posted shortly thereafter.
Who can vote
Only Participating Members who are verbatim, stenographic reporters and/or stenographic captioners and Registered Members who are verbatim, stenographic reporters and/or stenographic captioners as well as Retired Members and Retired Lifetime Members and Honorary Members who have been verbatim, stenographic reporters and/or stenographic captioners shall be eligible to vote. Members may cast their votes via their phones, tablets, or computers.
Verify or update your email before the deadline
Please make sure NCRA has your current email address in the database. To verify your email address, visit the member portal at NCRA.org. Click on “Login” at the very top of the website. Log in with your NCRA ID and password. Then, once you see a “Welcome” message, click on “My Profile.” To change your email address, click on “Update My Profile.” If you make changes, please be sure to click “Save Profile Information” near the bottom of the profile page.
