Jan. 1 | NCRA Distinguished Service Award Nominations Open
Honor a deserving member by recommending them to be recognized for their important contributions to the profession. Nominations due by March 1.
Jan. 1 | Fellows of the Academy of Professional Reporters Nominations Open
A professional distinction conferred upon a person of outstanding and extraordinary qualifications and experience in the field of shorthand reporting. Candidates for Fellowship are required to have been in the active practice of reporting for at least 15 years and to have attained distinction as measured by performance. Nominations due by March 1.
Jan. 1 | CASE Award of Excellence Nominations Open
Recognize the important contributions of a court reporting instructor by nominating them for the CASE Award of Excellence. Nominations due by March 1.
Jan. 1 | Jim Bouley Family Lifetime Award for Altruism Nominations Open
A professional distinction conferred upon a person who has been giving back to the profession without expectation of reward. Nominations due by May 1.

RSR, RPR, RMR, CRR, and CRC registration is open for the March 1–20 testing window. Registration ends at midnight Eastern.
Feb. 3-10 | 2024 Court Reporting & Captioning Week
Join court reporting and captioning professionals nationwide in celebrating and showcasing their profession. Be sure to use the hashtag #CRCW2024 when posting online.
March 1-31 | Written Knowledge Tests Registration
RPR, RDR, CRC, and CLVS registration is open for the April 3–17 testing window. Registration ends at midnight Eastern.
March 10-12 | 2024 NCRA Leadership & Legislative Boot Camp
NCRA’s Leadership & Legislative Boot Camp offers an immersive, hands-on opportunity for members to advocate for the court reporting, captioning, scoping, legal videography, and associated legal professions.
April 1-20 | Online Skills Tests Registration
RSR, RPR, RMR, CRR, and CRC registration is open for the May 1–20 testing window. Registration ends at midnight Eastern.
May 1-31 | NCRA Celebrate Certification Month
The month-long campaign is a way for NCRA members to show pride in the certifications they have earned, are working to earn, or are intending to earn.

June 1-30 | Written Knowledge Tests Registration

Aug. 1-3 | 2024 NCRA Conference & Expo
Join us August 1-3, in Louisville, Ky., for the 2024 NCRA Conference & Expo! The NCRA Conference & Expo is the largest gathering of court reporters, captioners, legal videographers, students, vendors, and related professionals from around the world.

Also look for our new Steno Matters series with NCRA President Kristin Anderson, M.A., RPR, FCRR, which will be posted at regular intervals.
