NCRA members, affiliates, students, and schools are midway through 2024 Court Reporting & Captioning Week, and news about celebrations and activities continue to roll in.

The Florida Court Reporters Association (FCRA) is celebrating their members’ passion for the profession with two virtual activities.

The first offering, “Hot Pursuit of Cool Excellence,” was held Feb. 5 and featured board members who answered questions about FCRA’s 2024 Convention in advance of registration which will open in March.

On Feb. 7, the topic will be “State of the Industry with Firm Owners and Independent Contractors.” Guest speakers will discuss what they currently are experiencing in the industry, including how AI may impact the profession in the future. The session is being held 7-9 p.m. Eastern and is open to students and nonmembers and will include some giveaways. For information or to register, contact admins@fcraonline.org.

The California Deposition Reporters Association (CalDRA) is calling on all of its members to celebrate the seven days dedicated to promoting the profession and encourages them to visit the NCRA 2024 Court Reporting & Captioning Week resources page to learn more.
