Judge in Georgia calls for overhaul of salaries for court reporters

In an article posted Feb. 7 by Capitol Beat News Service, Georgia Chief Justice Michael Boggs is quoted as telling the General Assembly during the annual State of Judiciary address that “Judges alone cannot move criminal cases without prosecutors. Nothing can be done without court reporters,” before calling for an overhaul of salaries.
