Opportunities are still available for students to apply to win a free registration to attend the 2024 NCRA Conference & Expo taking place Aug. 1-3 at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Ky. The deadline for the first round of giveaways is May 1.
NCRA’s Student-Teacher Committee is holding two drawings to give away student registrations. The committee set a goal of raising $6,000 for students to attend the 2024 Conference. The efforts of Giving Tuesday and Court Reporting & Captioning Week donations are currently at $1,400. It is not too late to make your tax-deductible donation by texting the keyword giving2students to 41444 or donating here.
Application forms for the drawing/s can be found here. To be eligible, applicants must be a current NCRA member, enrolled in a court reporting/captioning program, and/or provide verification that they have passed one skills test at 180 words per minute.
Winners from the first drawing being held May 3 will be announced May 8. Should more funds be raised, a second drawing will be held June 3 with winners announced June 5. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. Eastern the night before the drawing. Each winner will receive a complimentary student registration for Conference, a value of $305.

NCRF is also offering a student conference registration giveaway via drawing to 10 student members. The deadline for applying to be entered into the NCRF drawing is May 1, 5 p.m. Eastern. Winners will be announced on May 8. The student conference registration is valued at $305.
