Help support National Court Reporter Foundation (NCRF) programs designed to benefit members of the court reporting and captioning communities. Purchase a raffle ticket (or several!) to be eligible to win a just-released NexGen writer, generously donated by Stenograph, valued at $6,295. The winner will be selected by Stenograph representatives during the 2024 NCRA Conference & Expo taking place in Louisville, Ky., Aug. 1-3.
Raffle tickets are $50 each or three for $125 and can be purchased online or at the NCRF booth at the Conference. Members can also purchase tickets by texting the keyword NexGen2024 to 41444. The drawing will take place Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Member Recognition Gala. The winner does not need to be present to win and will be notified by Stenograph.
Clutch for a Cause
NCRF is also holding its Clutch for a Cause fundraiser with an upscale clutch raffled off at the Conference. The Gedebe embellished evening bag, valued at approximately $800, was graciously donated by Early Langley, RMR; NCRF Past Chair and former Trustee Tami Keenan, FAPR, RPR, CPE; and NCRF Manager Jill Parker Landsman.
Raffle tickets are available for purchase now and the winner will be randomly selected at the Gala. The winner does not need to be present to win. Tickets are $25 each, three for $50, or six for $100. Proceeds go to NCRF to support Foundation programs. Purchase tickets here or text the keyword clutch to 41444.
Purchase a 2024 commemorative pin
Each year the Conference has a memento for sale at the NCRF booth. The 2024 commemorative Conference pins will be available for purchase at the Conference for $10 each.
Want to be a true angel? Join the NCRF Angel Family
Join us and support rising court reporters and captioners. You can become a part of the NCRF Angel family by signing up with monthly ($83.34) or quarterly ($250) donations or an annual donation of $1,000. The total annual donation provides a great 2024 tax write-off and a myriad of benefits including a listing on the Angels poster at the NCRF Conference & Expo booth, an invitation to attend the exclusive VIP NCRF Angel Luncheon in Louisville this year, and the benefit of knowing that each donation helps NCRF advance its philanthropic programs and mission.
Each Angel donor’s name is listed on the NCRA website and in the JCR magazine. Giving back to our profession matters, and this is the perfect way to help others in their career journeys.
To become an Angel, you may select the recurring donation that works best for your budget by joining online or texting the keyword NCRFAngel to 41444. Or contact Jill Parker Landsman at jlandsman@ncra.org, who can help set up your NCRF donation over the phone.
The Angels Program continues to be the most impactful component of the National Court Reporters Foundation’s annual campaign as it supports four key initiatives that are advancing the court reporting and captioning professions:
- NCRF Scholarships and Grants
- Corrinne Clark Professionalism Institute
- Legal Education Program
- Oral Histories Program
For additional information about these and other NCRF fundraisers, contact Jill Parker Landsman at jlandsman@ncra.org.
