The National Court Reporters Association (NCRA) is here to support you and your state association in all your endeavors in advocacy on behalf of the court reporting, professional captioning, and legal videography communities.
As the State Government Relations Manager, my primary responsibility is to ensure that NCRA maintains a strong relationship with state associations to collaborate effectively. A major element of this will be maintaining a consistent line of communication in achieving our common goals and being committed to fostering a proactive partnership in both directions.
In that spirit I would like to extend an invitation to you and your fellow state association leaders to attend NCRA’s annual Conference & Expo this August in Louisville, Ky. This event will provide an opportunity for us to meet in person, discuss upcoming legislation, set goals, and celebrate NCRA’s quasquicentennial. Alternatively, if you would prefer to meet virtually or discuss these objectives via phone, let me know.
During Conference you will have the opportunity to engage with other state leaders and members throughout the country as well as key stakeholders from NCRA. A variety of informative sessions, workshops, and networking events will provide valuable insights and foster collaboration among our organization’s members.
Should you register to attend Conference, I would like to schedule a one-on-one meeting on Friday to discuss any specific issues or concerns you may have. This will allow us to identify ways in which NCRA can better support the court reporting, professional captioning, and legal videography communities in your state.
