NCRA’s Annual Business Meeting will take place Thursday, Aug. 1 from 8:30-11 a.m. Eastern in conjunction with the NCRA Conference & Expo at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Ky. During the meeting NCRA voting members will have the opportunity to discuss one proposed Bylaws Amendment to the Constitution and Bylaws and a proposed dues adjustment.
If you cannot attend in person, you can follow the discussion through live captions provided by Ellen Kerr, CRC, with Caption First, from Hornell, N.Y. A PDF of the meeting transcript will be available following the meeting on the Annual Business Meeting page.
All members may attend the Annual Business Meeting. However, only the following groups are eligible to vote:
- Participating Members who are verbatim stenographic reporters and/or stenographic captioners;
- Registered Members who are verbatim stenographic reporters and/or stenographic captioners;
- Retired Members and Retired Lifetime Members and Honorary Members who have been verbatim stenographic reporters and/or stenographic captioners.
Voting via secure online means will start within two hours of the close of the Business Meeting and will remain open for 24 hours. Members may cast their votes via their phones, tablets, or computers. Results will be posted shortly thereafter.
An email will be sent to voting members later this week with further instructions on how to vote.
