In a special video message that aired during the Premier Session at the 2024 NCRA Conference & Expo held Aug. 1-3 in Louisville, Ky., Virginia Sen. Mark Warner congratulated members on the Association’s 125 Anniversary. He also acknowledged the crucial role court reporters play in the nation’s legal system protecting the integrity of the official record.
“America has always been a country of laws. People trust that our laws are fair because we keep a record with integrity,” he said, and noted that now more than ever, the nation needs court reporters to serve in that crucial role. Warner also called NCRA’s members, who include stenographic court reporters, captioners, and legal videographers, dedicated professionals in their respective fields.
NCRA’s 2024 Conference & Expo drew more than 700 attendees and vendors.
