Join in the celebration of 2025 Court Reporting & Captioning Week being observed Feb. 1-8 with an array of activities.
Saturday is kick-off
First, if you are planning to attend NCRA’s Leadership & Legislative Boot Camp Feb. 2-4 in Washington, D.C., consider arriving early to take part in a fun-filled marketing photo shoot happening Sat., Feb. 1 from 2-5 pm. Besides celebrating the profession in pictures, you might just end up on one of NCRA’s house ads promoting anything from membership to Celebrate Certification Month in May to Conference or even next year’s Court Reporting & Captioning Week. Plus you’ll have the chance to snap a picture for social media of yourself or some friends in a special commemorative frame that will be onsite during Boot Camp. To sign up for the photo shoot or for more information, email pr@ncra.org. If you plan to attend, also consider bringing your machine!
Throughout the week the Virginia Court Reporters Association (VCRA) has planned a number of social events across the Commonwealth as well as Washington, D.C., to bring together court reporters, captioners, and friends for either an afternoon or evening of fun, networking, and celebration.
