NCRA is currently seeking nominations for its Academy of Professional Reporters. For 38 years, fellows have represented the pinnacle of excellence among NCRA members. They are individuals who are a credit to the reporting and captioning professions and embody the highest level of professional ethics. Their support of the profession can be seen in their activity in professional associations at the state or national level or through a number of other venues.
“Most of us give back to the profession on some level, whether it’s mentoring a student, speaking to classes, participating in our state and national conventions,” said Mary Cox Daniel, RDR, CRR, CBC, CCP and 2011 Fellow. “Being selected as a Fellow means you’ve done those things over a long period of time. It feels pretty great to be recognized by your peers!”
If you know of such a person who has not been named to the Academy, now is your chance to recognize his or her contributions. View the full criteria and download a nomination form here. Nominations are due Nov. 30.
