Chris DeGrazio, a freelance reporter in Fort Pierce, Fla., had an idea for a collage to promote NCRA Court Reporting & Captioning Week, and he made it happen.
His post says, “Happy #CourtReportingAndCaptioningWeek! #CRCW2021 Court reporting & captioning is an incredibly challenging & rewarding profession. This is my first year celebrating it as a graduate & professional court reporter. This collage represents the hundreds of students & professionals who work hard to provide services to create a clear transcript or captioning. If you have any questions about what we do, reach out & ask us 🙂 #courtreporting #Captioning #CART #NCRA #FCRA #FloridaCourtReportersAssociation”
“I thought of the idea in Zoom,”DeGrazio said. “I host two daily zoom practice sessions (when I’m not working) and my colleague Taylor Maldonado asked our group chat in Facebook messenger what we were doing for court reporting & captioning week. So I discussed it with her in Zoom and the idea organically came to me.”
