My babies are my good luck charms. They forced me to get into school, finish early, and work hard at becoming a better reporter and better mom every day so they can have a wonderful life full of amazing memories!

While I don’t personally have a good luck charm, my mom believed in them! Growing up she would share her stories with us kids. Let’s just say my siblings and I had a “challenging” time during our formative years with my father. It was great to hear her stories of hope and of better things to come. I remember looking for four-leaf clovers in the grassy plains — definitely a good luck charm for many!
