Make plans now to join NCRA President Debbie Dibble, RDR, CRR, CRC, for her last Town Hall taking place Saturday, June 25, at 11 a.m. Eastern. This is the fourth and final in a series of members-only Town Halls hosted by Dibble in which she presents updates on the Association. Members will have an opportunity to ask questions via the Q&A feature. Register now to attend this virtual event.
Dibble will be joined by several court reporting students from Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) who are participating in the NCRF Career Launcher program. She will also be joined by program participants Monique Luckett, an independent student, and Kimberly S. Coltrain, RSR. Dibble, who led the development and launch of the program, and her guests will discuss how it is working and offer valuable insights into its benefits. Career Launcher is designed to serve as a bridge or provide tips of the trade for students and new professionals between graduation and their first job, exposing them to myriad real-life situations. Joining the discussion will also be Lori Seiden, RPR, freelance court reporter from Dover, Fla., and a Career Launcher reviewer.
A fierce competitor herself, Dibble will also be joined by several past National Speed and Realtime contestants, including Amy Doman, RMR, CRR, a freelance court reporter from Carmel, Ind., and Mike Hensley, RDR, a freelance court reporter from Dublin, Calif., to find out what drives them to compete, how they prepare, and more.
Finally, Dibble will provide a wrap-up of her year of service leading the Association and will share with attendees what she believes were her greatest accomplishments, toughest challenges, what she learned during her tenure as NCRA President, and what she envisions for the future of the profession.
Members must register no later than June 25 at 10 a.m. Eastern to attend.
