Free student memberships available

Reliance, a proactive group of firm owners and individual court reporters who have joined together to ensure the continued success of NCRA and the court reporting industry, are offering 25 free NCRA student memberships for 2023. Applications are being accepted now through Nov. 11.

To be eligible, students must apply and meet the following criteria:

Have completed an NCRA A to Z^®Intro to Steno Machine Shorthand program and received a Certificate of Completion;
Currently be enrolled in a court reporting program (not self-taught);
Have passed a recent skills test writing a minimum of 60 words per minute and not more than 100 words per minute; and
Be a first-time NCRA student member (may not be used for a renewal membership)
