Just in time for Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the NCRA Learning Center is offering two new webinars in October to help you reduce risks and protect yourself while using the internet.
On Oct. 4 two members of the NCRA Technology Committee — Hector Cordova, CLVS, and Andrea Kreutz, CLVS — will present Cybersecurity: What You Need to Know to Protect Your Computer and Online Accounts. The webinar will tackle a number of cybersecurity topics, including the top tools to protect your computer and online accounts and how to get started with them today. (0.1 CEU)
On Oct. 25 IT specialist Kenya Herring presents Staying Safe Online with Password Protection. Learn a few tips and tricks that teach you how to prevent malware infections, scams, and identity theft. This beginner course will cover how to safely manage, store, and encrypt your passwords. “Join this exciting webinar to learn basic fundamentals and best practices to stay safe online and protect your personal information from cyber criminals,” says Herring. Webinars do not have to be viewed live. The Learning Center gives 30 days from the live event to complete all required elements unless otherwise noted.
