Alberta court may ‘phase out’ court reporters, claiming labor crunch

The Edmonton [Alberta, Canada] Journal reported on Sept. 22 that Alberta’s top trial court may soon “phase out” court reporters who create realtime records of trials amid what it says is a labor crunch.
