Opportunities are still available for students to apply to win a free registration to attend the 2024 NCRA Conference & Expo taking place Aug. 1-3 at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Ky. The deadline for the first round of giveaways is May 1.
NCRA’s Student/Teacher Committee and NCRF are each sponsoring giveaways for student registrations. To be eligible, applicants must be a current NCRA member enrolled in a court reporting/captioning program and/or provide verification that they have passed one skills test at 180 words per minute.
NCRA’s Student/Teacher Committee is holding two drawings. The Committee set a goal of raising $6,000 for students to attend the 2024 Conference. It is not too late to make your tax-deductible donation to contribute to the effort by texting the keyword giving2students to 41444 or donating here.
The deadline for the first drawing is midnight Eastern on May 2. Winners will be announced May 8. Should more funds be raised, a second drawing will be held June 3 with winners announced on June 5. Each winner will receive a complimentary student registration, a value of $305. Application forms for the Student/Teacher Committee giveaway can be found here.

NCRF is also offering a student conference registration giveaway via drawing to 10 student members. The deadline for the NCRF drawing is May 1, 5 p.m. Eastern. Winners will be announced on May 8. Application forms for the NCRF drawing can be found here.
