Court reporting students at Alvin Community College in Texas welcomed 14 military veterans who talked about their days of war, according to the July 31 Houston Chronicle. The narratives will be sent to the Library of Congress as part of its Veterans History Project, which documents the experiences of veterans. Court reporters have volunteered to transcribe in-person interviews and audiotapes of veterans for more than 10 years for the Veterans History Project.
