The 2024 NCRA Conference & Expo, happening Aug. 1-3 in Louisville, Ky., is just six weeks away. And if you’ve been waiting to finalize your summer plans, now is the time to act. Register now! Online registration rates end June 30, and starting July 1 members will pay an additional $50 for a Full Registration package. All other registration package rates will increase as well.

Thursday
- The best of the best gather to test their skills at the National Realtime Contest (the National Speed Contest is held on Wednesday).
- Get an early start to the Conference on Thursday with boot camps, vendor workshops, and the Firm Owners Focus.
- Educational sessions start on Thursday afternoon and run through Saturday afternoon. From the historical to the technological, this year’s Conference & Expo offers a wide range of sessions for court reporters, captioners, and legal videographers, and there are several special speakers lined up as well. - Catch up with friends and colleagues at the Welcome Reception in the Expo Hall on Thursday night from 6:15-7:45 p.m.
Friday
- Friday’s Premier Session features Keynote Speaker Dan Meers, who has been the mascot of the Kansas City Chiefs for over 30 years. Meers is known for his contagious enthusiasm, optimism, and love for life which inspires and motivates audiences of all ages.
- During the Premier Session we will celebrate the installation of NCRA’s 2024-2025 Board of Directors and the Distinguished Service Award recipient.
Saturday
- Find out who won the Speed and Realtime Contests and other prestigious awards by attending the Awards Luncheon on Saturday.
- Saturday night is the Members Recognition Gala: Welcome to the Winners Circle. Get ready to don your finest Derby attire and let loose! After a jam-packed conference, it’s time to kick up your heels and celebrate in style. With Derby Days in the air, this is your chance to mingle with your colleagues, dance ’til you drop, and create memories that will last a lifetime. See you at the finish line!
Sunday
- In-person skills testing will be offered for the RSR, RPR, CRR, and CRC. Slots are limited and more information can be found at ncra.org/louisvilleskt. Registration ends July 8.
