The National Court Reporters Association Political Action Committee (NCRA PAC) is increasing its efforts to bolster its presence on the federal lobbying level. For the first time in its 43-year history, NCRA PAC is now accepting online contributions.
NCRA members and staff are the only qualified individuals able to make contributions to NCRA PAC according to the rules and regulations of the Federal Election Commission (FEC). Donating to NCRA PAC is secure and easy, much like renewing your membership dues. Methods of payment accepted include credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and ACH bank transfers (virtual personal checks). Qualified donors can make a one-time donation or set up annual contributions.
With every transaction recorded and tracked online, NCRA PAC can easily monitor and report its fundraising activities based on that year’s FEC schedule. From a fundraising perspective, accepting online contributions is also more efficient and cost-effective. NCRA PAC can reach a broader audience of qualified donors through email campaigns, social media and other digital channels, allowing it to raise funds quickly and efficiently. This is particularly important during election cycles when time is of the essence.
The need for NCRA PAC to fundraise effectively cannot be overstated. By supporting federal candidates who will champion the interests of our members, NCRA PAC will play a vital role in shaping the political landscape from 2024 on in both chambers of Congress. NCRA PAC relies on the financial support of NCRA members and staff to support the candidates who will fight for the Association’s priorities in Congress – something NCRA PAC will determine on a nonpartisan basis via a combination of candidate surveys published by the PAC’s Governing Board, annual events such as the NCRA Leadership Boot Camp, and through our lobbying efforts securing sponsorships for pertinent legislation.
