Register for Oct. 8 NCRA Board service webinar

Volunteering to serve on the NCRA Board of Directors serves a dual purpose. It allows you to impact your professional community while also enhancing personal growth as your passions and dedication are channeled into leadership service to ensure NCRA is always working in the best interest of our industry and our Association.

Our Association thrives on the dedication and contributions of its members. As a community powered by volunteers, we recognize that every member brings unique strengths, talents, and knowledge. When shared, these qualities can significantly impact our Association and the broader stenographic profession. This is a crucial time for our organization, as the individuals elected to the Board will play a key role in shaping our future direction and ensuring the continued success of the stenographic profession.

With NCRA’s membership of nearly 12,000 members and a budget of $5 million, it is crucial for candidates to have experience as a director to understand and fulfill the responsibilities of these roles.

The Election Process

  • President-Elect
  • Vice President
  • Secretary-Treasurer
  • Two Directors (three-year terms)

*Due to her schedule in 2025, Georgia Northway, RPR, of O’Fallon, Mo., is unable to serve on the 2024-2025 Nominating Committee.
