Let NCRA and the National Court Reporters Foundation help you fund your court reporting and captioning education! The clock is ticking, and deadlines are quickly approaching for you to submit your applications for two different NCRF student scholarship awards.
NCRF Gina Battaglia Memorial Student Intern Scholarships
The nearest deadline of Feb. 28 is for the NCRF Gina Battaglia Memorial Student Intern Scholarship. This scholarship is intended to help an NCRA student member who has been an intern in the past 12 months. NCRF is offering two awards of $2,000 each that provide some help for students to fund their court reporting education.
Named in honor of Gina Battaglia, daughter of Foundation Angel Stephanie Zeder Battaglia, RMR, CRR, a freelance court reporter from Hinsdale, Ill., this campaign was funded by friends, colleagues, and other NCRA supporters who have donated generously in Gina’s memory.

Stenograph Milton H. Wright Memorial Scholarship
March 19 marks the deadline for applications for the Stenograph Milton H. Wright Memorial Scholarship. The award honors Stenograph’s founder and offers court reporting students material support during their schooling.
NCRF’s merit-based award offers more than $5,000 in tuition plus the use of a student writer and software!
To be eligible to apply, students must have an exemplary academic record, have passed at least one skills test writing 90 wpm or higher, and write an essay. Full details and an application can be found on the scholarship web page.
