Article and Book Tests
NCRA is committed to promoting reading and expanding educational opportunities for its members. As part of the continuing education program, the Council of the Academy of Professional Reporters (CAPR) has approved an array of JCR articles and books for professional development opportunities.
NCRF Career Launcher
NCRA also offers programs designed to foster professional growth. One standout offering is Career Launcher, a program developed in partnership with the National Court Reporters Foundation (NCRF).
Career Launcher is an innovative, comprehensive training program for:

✔ Experienced professionals looking for a refresher in deposition reporting
This asynchronous program consists of 10 video mock deposition modules providing real-life exposure and practical tips for both new and seasoned professionals. It serves as an essential bridge from education to real-world experience, equipping participants with valuable skills to navigate the profession successfully.
Career Launcher offers two tracks: One for professionals seeking CEUs and another for students wanting to explore deposition reporting without earning CEUs.

Certification Education
The Learning Center is where you will also access our certification education offerings. NCRA sets the standard in certification for the court reporting and captioning professions. Since 1937 NCRA has administered its nationally recognized certification program for court reporters.
