Take care of yourself with free webinars during Mental Health Awareness Month

During Mental Health Awareness Month this May, NCRA is offering a series of free live webinars focused on your personal and professional well-being. Learn how to understand and manage pressure, cultivate rest and resilience, and strive for excellence without perfectionism. Discover strategies to navigate job-related stress and maintain mental sharpness. And explore ways to manage vicarious trauma, build resilience, and establish healthy boundaries.

Qualified professionals in their fields will present these invaluable webinars which have been tailored to meet the needs of NCRA’s members. This series is free to NCRA members and brought to you by the National Court Reporters Foundation.

“The National Court Reporters Foundation is pleased to support the Association’s mental health initiatives,” says NCRF Chair Doug Friend, FAPR, RDR, CRR (Ret.). “Back in 2000 when Christine Phipps, RPR, who was at the time NCRA’s President, first brought the facts and figures about the mental health crisis in the legal profession to the NCRA Board of Directors, they knew they had to do something to support our members. And the Foundation’s Board of Trustees knew we had to step up, too. Providing funding for these events is an act of heart for us.

“Please take advantage of these live webinars and the additional resources made available to NCRA,” continues Friend. “We not only need you to keep our profession strong, we need you to keep yourself well.”

No need to stress about missing these live webinars. You can view (or review) them anytime after the airtime in the NCRA Learning Center. View the full list of available mental health-related webinars.
