Attorneys in Pennsylvania once again raised concerns about the use of audio equipment in courtrooms, citing the possible recording of confidential conversations between attorneys and their clients, according to an article posted in The Legal Intelligencer on Dec. 9. The article notes that Monroe County District Attorney E. David Christine Jr. and attorneys in Monroe County are worried that recording devices at the county courthouse have been used to capture off-the-record conversations between attorneys and their clients. Monroe County Deputy Court Administrator Renee L. Kimball denied that the devices are used to record private conversations.
