The Claremore Daily Progress, Okla., posted an article on May 12 about a dog named Jerzy, owned by court reporter Mindie Baab, who is being trained as a therapy dog to assist victims and witnesses in the courtroom. The female Aussiedoodle canine will learn to sit beside victims or witnesses through the initial interview in the DA’s office and later in the courtroom during basic questions and cross-examination.
